4300 SERIES LCR Meters




A range of easy to use LCR meters with comprehensive measurement functions.

Accurate and fast measurements may be made from 20Hz to 1MHz (43100) making the 4300 series the ideal choice for many applications in the test or production environments.

Two test mode enables consecutive measurements to be made with two different instrument parameters set. For example two AC measurements may be made at different frequencies or an AC and a Rdc measurement may be made.

Measurement limits may be set in Scale or Operator modes.

An optional component Binning module may be specified which provides an interface to component sorting machines. Limits set in the instrument Binning mode enable a wide range of components to be sorted while the choice of isolated or non-isolated modules give interface flexibility.

The optional Scaleizer handler module provides PASS/FAIL and data synchronisation relay outputs for limit checked measurements. Two output signal configurations are available.

Up to 20 measurements set ups can be saved with user defined names for later recall.

All 4300 series instruments may be externally controlled using the standard RS232, GPIB, USB or LAN interfaces.

Wayne Kerr Kelvin Clips consist of a 0.6 m cable assembly terminated with four BNC connectors at the analyzer end and a pair of 4-terminal Kelvin clips at the Device Under Test end.

The 1012 fixture makes a 2-terminal measurement to end contact surface mount devices and is suitable for medium and high impedance devices.

The 1014 fixture makes a 4-terminal measurement to end contact surface mount devices and is especially suitable for low impedance devices.
The 1020 Fixture is used with the 6500 series, and when used with the /K Materials Test firmware option allows the permittivity of the Material Under Test (MUT) to be calculated automatically.It allows both the Contacting Electrode and the Non-contacting Electrode Methods to be used up to a maximum frequency of 30 MHz.
The 1023 adaptor allows 2-terminal accessories to be used with 4-terminal analyzers, such as the 4300 and 6500, which do not have a 2 Term/ 4 Term switching facility on their front panel.
The 1025 probe allows a 6500 to make ground referenced impedance measurements. In normal use the 6500 is unable to measure components which have one terminal directly referenced to ground, but the 1025 Probe is the solution to this restriction.
The 10324 fixture makes a 4-terminal measurement to bottom contact surface mount devices and is especially suitable for low impedance devices.
